We recently heard from the grateful mother of one of our recipients:
"I want to give a huge shout out and thank you to the Tucson Area Marine
Moms. My son is currently deployed on the 22nd MEU and just received a care
package from you. When he was able to call recently he told me about the
package and was over the top thankful for the socks! He loved everything in
his care package but couldn't stop talking about the new socks and how much
he needed them and appreciated them. A huge thanks from this MoM too! His
deployment has been long and packages like this from strangers to him bring
a smile to his face and thankfulness in his heart (this mom too). Thanks
again for your thoughtfulness put into action!"
